Brothers

William did love his little brother but just occasionally  he couldn’t resist the temptation to be a little bit naughty. Saturday was just such an occasion.

Mum was busy cleaning and tidying as the two boys stood in the kitchen looking at the bowl of food.

‘What does it taste like?’  William asked Ben.  Ben shrugged.

‘Go on, just have a little taste’ he said.

Ben looked up to his big brother with trust, found a spoon on the table and reached out to the bowl, taking a small amount to his lips.

Well, the dog wouldn’t miss one little bit of its food, would it?
